Returns Policy

e-Mesh Projects -Returns & Refunds Policy

     1. Overview

At e-Mesh Projects, we strive to deliver high quality signage, LED displays, CCTV systems, and design services. Due to the custom nature most of our products, returns and refunds  are handled carefully and fairly to protect both the client and the business.

This policy outline how returns, replacements, and refunds are processed.

    2. Custom-Made Products (Signage, LED Screens, Banners, Boards, Lightboxes, 3D Letters)

Most of our products are custom manufactured, which means they cannot be returned for a refund once production has begun.

No returns or refunds are accepted for:

  • Custom signage (PVC, Chromadek, 3D Letters, billboards, store fronts, etc.)
  • Printed materials ( banners, posters, construction boards)
  • LED screens and digital displays installations ordered specifically for your project

However , we do offer:

  • Free correction of mistakes caused by e-Mesh Projects
  • Warranty repairs on manufactured or installation defects
  • Replacement of faulty components if covered by the supplier warranty

      3. CCTV Products & Equipment

CCTV equipment (cameras, DVRs, NVRs, power supplies, cables) may be returned only if:

  • The item is faulty on delivery, and
  • The issue is reported to us within 7 days of installation or collection

We will assess the equipment and either:

  • Replace it (If covered covered by supplier warranty), or
  • Repair it

No refunds will be issued for installed CCTV systems, bur defective units will be replaced or repaired.

     4. Design Services (Logos, Templates, Artwork, Layouts)

Design work is non-refundable once:

  • Concepts have been presented, or
  • Final artwork has been delivered

We do allow up to 2-3 reasonable revisions, depending on the package chosen.

    5. Deposits and cancellations

To start your order, e-Mesh Projects requires a 50% non-refundable deposit.

This deposit covers:

  • Materials
  • Labour
  • Time invested in design and preparation
  • Booking your project slot

If the client cancels after payment:

  • The deposit is forfeited
  • Any materials purchased specifically for the project will be invoiced

    6. Turnaround & Changes After Approved

Before production, clients receive final artwork or proof for approval.

Once approved:

  • No changes can be made
  • No refunds for incorrect provided by the client

    7. Warranty

Warranty vary depending on the product;

  • CCTV equipment: 6-12 months (supplier dependent)
  • LED screens: Manufactured warranty applies
  • Signage: 3-month workmanship warranty

Warranty does not cover:

  • Water damage
  • Vandalism
  • Power surges or load shedding
  • Incorrect use or accidental damage

  8. How to Request a Return or Warranty Claim

  2. Photos or video of the issue
  3. A description of the problem

We respond within 24-48 hours

  9. Compliance

This policy is aligned with South Africa's Consumer Protection Act (CPA), specifically regarding defective goods and fair business practice.
